NEBOSH Environmental Certificate
This newly launched course is designed to provide a sound foundation to the fundamental elements of environmental management. It has quickly become a very popular addition to the NEBOSH National General Certificate, or it can be taken as a stand-alone certificate.
Who should attend
Managers, supervisors and employees who have responsibility for managing environmental issues, as part of their day to day duties.
No previous environmental management knowledge is required but candidates should note the assessment includes a written report, after the course is completed.
Candidates, who hold the NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management, with declared results from June 2013 onwards, are eligible for Associate membership of IEMA. The syllabus takes a risk management approach, based on best practice and international industry standards:
- Environmental management systems and impact assessments;
- Sources and use of energy and energy efficiency;
- Control of pollution;
- Planning for and dealing with environmental emergenci
Aims and Objectives
On successful completion of this course delegates will have a sound understanding of the principles of environmental management and have the tools to build an effective environmental culture within their organisation.
Written examination and a practical assessment with a written report is required for completion within 2 weeks of the exam date.
This course is assessed by NEBOSH. Certificates are from NEBOSH issued to all successful candidates, via Oak Tree
