This course will be a great first step for anyone that needs to improve their knowledge of health and safety, from managers looking to improve the way they look after their staff, to anyone wanting to start a career in health and safety. This 3 days course is suitable for organisations of any size, in any industry and sector. This course looks at real life case studies and includes the latest technology in the form of augmented reality to offer learners a truly engaging and interactive experience. Safety Simplified is an ideal introduction to health and safety.

Description

Course Objectives 

By the end of the course, delegates will have:

  • Understand the reasons and benefits of managing health and safety
  • Be able to recognise common workplace hazards
  • Understand how to prevent incidents from recurring
  • Understand the purpose of inspections and audits
  • Know how to undertake basic health and safety risk assessments and put in place appropriate control measures

Be able to help employers in the workplace comply with the law and avoid the huge impact of incidents and ill health

Written Exam: 18 multi format questions

Practical Risk Assessment: at the workplace (90 Minutes)  for submission 10 working days after the course finish date

Course Duration: Three Days
