Is there parking available?
Yes, there is FREE parking on the entire site. You can park anywhere, as long as there is no business name tag on the bay. (Examples below of the closest parking:)

Are there any electric car charging bays?
Yes, there’s a few spaces available.

Is there a smoking area?
Yes, you can smoke outside. There are designated cigarette bins.
Is there an area outside that I can go sit at?
Yes, there's a few benches outside on the field with tables.
Food & Local Amenities
Are there any places nearby to get lunch?
Yes, we provide Lunch from our caterers, you can order something off the menu on the day (included in course fees).
Or The Suffolk Café (3-5 minute walk or 1 minute drive from Oak Tree offices).
Are there any hotels nearby to stay at?
Yes, there are multiple accommodation places close by. Contact us for more information.
Travel & Location
How accessible is public transport?
Bus stop (0.3 miles away), 5-10 minute walk.
Train station (3 miles away), 8 minutes by car, but we offer a concierge service.

How is the training delivered?
Face-to-face at our offices located just outside Bury St Edmunds (location details)
Face-to-face at your company – we can send our trainers to you (ideal for bigger groups), any location

Course Information
What is the maximum amount of people you train at a time?
Up to 8 people at our training facilities based in our head offices.
Up to 12 people on your site.
What is the minimum amount of people you train at a time?
Minimum is 2 people.
How long does a course last?
Day course - start at 9:30am and finish at 4pm (6.5 hours).
NEBOSH courses - start at 9am and finish at 4pm (7 hours).
(finish times vary - depending on how many delegates are on the course, sometimes you finish before 4pm and sometimes after).
Half day course - start 9am to 12pm, or 12pm to 3pm.
When does a half day course start and how long is it?
Half day courses start either in the morning at 9am to 12pm, or in the afternoon at 12pm to 3pm. Only last 3 hours.
How long does a NEBOSH National General Certificate last?
Our NEBOSH National General Certificate course is 10 days which is split into two 5 day blocks.
How long does an IOSH Managing Safely Certificate last?
Refresher training is recommended every 3 years. More information HERE
Bookings & Policies
Can I re-sit NEBOSH exams if I fail the first time?
Yes, re-sits are available. Contact us for more details and pricing.
What happens if I can't attend a course?
You need to let us know as soon as you can so that we are aware you won't be attending.
You could check if anyone from your company could come as a replacement.
Can I cancel a course? How long before a course I need to do that?
Yes, but you need to inform us as soon as possible as per our Terms and Conditions
What happens if I'm unwell to attend a course?

Support & Accessibility
Do you train individuals with learning difficulties? (ADHD, Dyslexia etc...)
Yes, we provide extra support for individuals with learning difficulties.
What support do you offer to delegates?
We offer any support available to give you the best learning outcomes from your chosen training.
What do I need to bring with me when attending a course with you?
Lunch and refreshments are provided as part of the course, but, a laptop, writing implements and a notebook is always a good idea for making notes or completing course assessments and projects.
Do I need any other qualifications to attend any courses?
None of our courses have pre-training requisites and we offer support to guide you throughout your training.
